onthesoundfromthisheadset.It offers a decent amount

ofclarityandpowerbutthere’sa shrill quality to its default

settingthat,whileit technicallywas probably good for

enhancingtheaudibilityofsomein-game sounds, made

forquiteanunpleasant,tiring sound. There’s also a

persistentandparticularlynoticeable background hiss

that’scommonwithwirelessheadsets but we found more

noticeableherethanonsome.It also beeps in an

annoyinglyloudandhigh-pitched

mannerwhenyouturnit on.

Conclusion

TheTurtleBeachEliteAtlasAerois a

competentandfeature-richpremium

wirelessheadsetthat’scomfortable and

offersclear,powerfulsound.However,

itsheadbandisn’tveryadjustable,it

producesnoticeablebackgroundhiss

andwedidn’tgetalongwiththevery

treble-heavy,shrillEQ.
