ear WOXS, I wanted to
share my latest project
with you – a cushion featuring
France from the ‘Journey
Around the World’ designs by
SODA Stitch*.
I stitched this project
whilst in the beautiful French
Alps on a scenic break with
my friend. I usually frame
projects, but wanted to try
something different, so I
bought some fabric from my
local quilting shop. I enjoyed
being creative and trying out
wave pleats! I am looking
forward to stitching more
SODA Stitch designs to make
more cushions – they will
make great Christmas presents
for my family! Many thanks.

the little details in it and

up how you display your

a cushion makes a great
statement piece.

y partner asked me
if I could stitch him a
barn owl. I found this design
and it’s taken me a couple
of months, but finally got it
done for him and he loves it.

as she’s one of my favourites. I also want
to thank you for the wealth of materials
available in the Design Library of each
issue, providing me with designs for the
many greeting cards I send each year.
Stitching has helped maintain my sanity
at a very stressful time in my life, and I

i, just thought I’d
drop you a line. I was
fortunate to be featured
in your ‘Ask the Expert’
slot last autumn, for
ideas for my daughter’s
21 st birthday. Well, I’ve
now completed your
suggestion. It’s been a
labour or love (and hate
at times!) and I’ve gone
slightly wrong in the
middle, but now it’s been
professionally framed I’m
really pleased with it and
I’m sure she will be too.
