Superstar die
Simply make
1 Spritz an A5 piece of
stamping cardstock with
water, dab the inkpads onto
a craft mat keeping the
colours separate, spritz
with water and roll the
stamping cardstock over
the spritzed inks.
2 Allow the panel to dry and
repeat the process until
the required background
is achieved.
3 Using the cerise foil and
Superstar die, foil the image
onto the inked panel as
shown. Cut the cardstock
to size and then cut out the
star aperture, shading the
edge of the aperture
with fuchsia ink.
4 Foil the sentiment onto
If you have a lamp handy you can hold the
card up to the light with the MDF heart
behind it and see where the foiled image needs to be placed,
then carefully draw around the heart on the back of the card
and use as a guide when gluing the card to the heart
Top tip
a piece of acetate and
stick onto the reverse
of the aperture. Wrap
ribbon around the edge
of the panel, securing with
a knot and cut to size
before mounting the panel
onto the card front.

Happy Birthday die
Simply make
1 Foil the Happy Birthday
radiating die onto the
green Core’dinations
cardstock using the
Aurora papercraft foil.
2 Secure the foiled card onto
the MDF heart and allow to
dry, trimming to the heart
shape and ink the edges
using Grasshopper ink.
3 Cut a piece of grey board
using the square sentiment
die and cut a picture down
to size using the square die.
Af x onto the grey board
and allow to dry.
4 Shade around the edge
of the grey board with the
silver pen and af x onto the
MDF heart.
5 Cut a piece of grey board to
measure 4x9cm and taper
2cm in at the top edge to
create the picture stand.
6 Attach cream cardstock
to the grey board and cut
to size, allowing a 2cm
overhang at the top edge.
Fold the cream cardstock
at the top and attach to the
reverse of the MDF heart.
7 Using a pokey tool, punch a
hole through the card where
the MDF hole is, cut the
ribbon, thread through the
hole and secure. Add a bow
and paper owers to nish.
