Behind the scenes

Inside...

What one item in your
craft room could you not
live without?
The HomePod speakers that
sit at each end of my room.
My speakers are always on
when I am working on projects
and ideas. I use them for
music and also when watching
movies for surround sound.

What’s your favourite
storage solution?
I have had several storage
options over the years but my
favorite at the moment are the
shelves that house my Copic
marker collection on my desk.
I love having them nearby so
they’re easy to see, and best
of all easy to put back! The
shelves were purchased with
drawers in them which I left out

Organised or clutter?
Organised
Wall art or pin boards?
I would love wall art, but I
don’t have any that’s not
digitally saved for ideas
Storage boxes or trays? Both!
Favourite décor colour
combo? Teal, aqua, lime
green, with the main color
being white
Label or not to label?
Only my paper is labelled

to use just the frame as shelves.
I like to look around when
shopping for new storage and
think outside of the box on how
to use the items I nd!

How do you organise
your products?
My paper is organised by
theme and housed in IRIS brand
storage boxes. I keep holidays
and seasons on their sides
and then general themes in
the storage towers.
My solid papers are stored in
clear paper holders by colours in
rainbow order – and they’re kept
on the bottom row of my cubes
because they are heavy! I keep
the co-ordinating colour of ink,
glitter, pens, paints, markers,
and re lls above each colour
paper in long drawers so they
are easy to nd.
I like to keep my most used
brands of inks and markers
out and sorted by company in
rainbow order.

If you could buy any product
for your craft room, what
would it be?
I am using an eight-year old
computer so it’s going to be
time to replace it soon. I have
been holding off because that
will cut into the crafting budget
big time!

Do you tidy away your
products as soon as you’ve
fi nished creating, or tidy up
after it gets too messy to
carry on?
I pick up after each project
and like to start with a clean
space each time I create.
When everything has a home
it makes cleaning up a breeze
and can be done most days,
including wiping down surfaces,
in under ve minutes.

Where is your favourite
place to buy your craft
room solutions from?
I go to Michael’s often because
it has storage items

on sale frequently and its
location is close to me.

If you could only buy one more
item for your craft room, what
would you prioritise?
The CAMEO 4 has been on my
wish list for quite a while now!
I love the software and the new
machine looks amazing!

Have often do you re-arrange
your craft room?
According to my husband and
children I re-arrange too often.
My craft room will forever be a
work in progress as new and
exciting tools and trends come
into the crafting world.
