Looking Out For Our

Neighbours

ourneighbours.org.uk
Relaunching the campaign to combat
loneliness and social isolation, this site
has made some some subtle yet effective
tweaks to increase engagement. The new
Get Involved button suggests ‘Simple
things you can do’, along with associated
downloads such as safety sheets and
recipes, while new additions include an
inspiring news section and videos
showing the impact a simple “hello” can
have on others. Visitors are encouraged
to use the hashtag #OurNeighbours on
social media to share their own stories
and promote the scheme.

Transport for Wales
tfwrail.wales
Aiming to get commuters back on track
for the long haul, Transport for Wales has
added a season-ticket buying option to
its homepage. Just click the relevant tab,
select where you want to go to and from,
indicate a start date, add a railcard and
select a ticket type to view the options
and make a purchase. The rest of the site
remains much the same, with options to
switch between Welsh and English, see
destinations and view travel updates.
Timetables and a link to download the
app have been added to the Planning
Your Journey section and the site is as
easy to get around as ever.
