backgroundsquarestomakethecorners.

SewthetwoCSTunitstobothsidesof

theremaining 6 in x 18in rectangle of

blackas shown in the photo.

Makea quiltsandwichwiththecushion

top,battingandliningfabric.Quilt as

desired and square up to 18in.

WithRSTsewonesideof thezipperto

thebottomedgeof thecushioncover,

makingsurethezipperis centred.Then

againwithRSTsewtheothersideof the

zippertothebackingfabric.Makesurethe

zipperis linedupevenlyonboththefront

andtheback pieces of the cushion.

Openthezipperupat leasthalfway.With

RSTandstartingat oneendof thezipper,

sewaroundallsidesof thecushion,finishing

at theoppositeendof thezippertoclose

thecushioncover.Makesuretobackstitch

at thebeginningandend.Clipyour corners

and turn right side out to finish.

TOP TIP

Tomakethecushionsymmetrical,mark

thecentreof eachstrip.Thenmatchand

pin these marks before sewing in place.
