FOLDS
Make 4 in G/F & 4 in H/F
With G or H, cast on 4 sts.
Rows 1-4: Starting with a p
row, work 4 rows in St st.
Change to F.
Row 5 (WS): Purl.
Row 6: Ssk, k2. 3 sts
Row 7: P2tog, p1. 2 sts
Pass the  rst st over the
second and fasten off.

Making up: Fold the Body
edge at the eyelet row (Row
4). Sew the cast-on row to the
Body. Sew Body seam as far
as neck and stuff. Seam Base
and attach it to cast-on row of
Body. Keep neck edge open.
Cut out a piece of purple felt
big enough to cover the mouth
and sew felt on the WS of
Head. With fasten-off yarn
end of Head, sew Head half
way. With cast-on yarn end,
work a gathering thread along
cast-on edge and draw tightly.
Sew Head a little further, stuff,
and close seam. Embroider
teeth and tongue. From white
felt, cut out two 1cm circles.
Attach a 6mm eye bead to felt
circle and attach it to Head.
Rep for the other eye. Seam
and stuff Nose and attach it to
Head. Seam Ears and attach
them to Head. Attach Head
to Body. Attach Folds to Body
using photograph as a guide
to placement.
