How would you
describe your
stitching style?
I stitch constantly,
but thoughtfully.
I always carefully
select the designs
for the people I’m planning to give them to.
How cross stitch crazy are you?
Crazy! I stitch everywhere and always have
a mini kit in my bag in case I can get an extra
10 minutes of stitching done on the go.
Which occasion gets your needle twitching?
Christmas and stitching for my nephews.
When I’m not stitching, you’ll find me...
Reading, spending time with my three
nephews or watching musicals!
How long ago did you start stitching?
About eight years ago. I taught myself by
watching YouTube videos.
Which cross stitch
designer would be
your dream dinner
party guest?
Lucie Heaton! I love
her designs and
would enjoy talking
to her about her designing process.
Which project are you most proud of?
I made a wreath that took me a couple of
years. It’s got all sorts of lovely little motifs in
it and I love getting it out every Christmas.
How would you describe your stitching style?
I love cartoon-style designs – ones where it
doesn’t matter if you make a mistake or two!
Who do you most like to stitch for?
My parents. They love everything I produce!
Which celeb would you most like to stitch?
The cricket commentator Sir Ian Botham,
as my dad is a huge fan of his.
Which project are you
most proud of?
A Friday the 13th design
I stitched my stepfather
for Christmas – he’s
a huge fan. I splattered
red paint on the frame as the finishing touch.
How cross stitch crazy are you?
I’ve been stitching for over 20 years now,
so I’d say very cross stitch crazy!

Fast-paced and neat.
Which cross stitch designer would be your
dream dinner party guest?
I adore Meg Black – aka The Witchy Stitcher
- because of her wicked sense of style and
creative designs. Who wouldn’t enjoy
meeting somebody like that?
Which celeb would you most like to stitch?
I just love the actor Adam Driver. He plays
Kylo Ren in the new Star Wars movies and
makes such a great villain!
