Makea quiltsandwichbyplacingthe

panelfrontliningpiecerightsidedown,

thebattingontop,andthepiecedfront

panelrightsideup.Basteandquilt as

desired. Trim away the excess.

underin again,enclosingtherawedge.

Topstitchin place.Fold in half lengthwise,

WSTandpress.

Cuta 2insquarein eachofthebottom

cornersofthefrontpanel.Repeatwith

eachofthe 14 in x 19in main fabric and

liningpieces.

Withthefrontpanelrightsideup,centre

onechannelpieceat thetop,aligning

rawedges.Placeoneliningpiecerightside

downontop.Pinandstitchalongthetop

edge.Pressopen.Layerthefrontandlining

pieceWST,withthechannelpiecepointing

awayfromthefront panel. Topstitch below

thechannel.

Repeatstep 11 withtheremainingmain

fabric,liningand channel piece to make

thebackpanel.

Openupthefrontandbackpanelsand

placeRST.Makesurethetwoliningsare

facing and the front and back outers are

facing.Stitchalongbothsidesandbottoms,

leavinga 4ingapforturningin thelining.

Leavethe cut square corners unstitched.

Takeonecornerandfoldsothebottom

andsideseamaretogether.Stitchthe

rawedgesof thecornertoboxthecorner.

Repeatwiththeremainingcorners.Turnthe

bagrightsideoutthroughthegapin the

lining.Stitchtheliningclosed and push

downinside the bag.

Cutyourcordintotwopieces.Usea

safetypintothreadonecordthrough

bothchannels,beginningandendingat the

sameside.Knottheends.Repeattothread

thecordthroughbothchannels from the

other side to finish.
