Out of the blue

Find the centre of your
fabric by folding it in
half horizontally
and vertically.
Find the
centre of
the chart
and start
stitching
here, in the
centre of the
fabric, working your
way outwards.

Work the cross stitch
using two strands of

cotton; 12 different colours
are used so refer to the key
as you stitch to make sure
you are working correctly.

Add the backstitch
using one strand of
cotton in cornflower blue
or orange. Then, work the
French knots using one
strand of cornflower blue.

When you have
completed all the
stitching, then check over
your finished work and
prepare it for making up.
