This effervescent new brochure
site for Dutch brand Roze Bunker
aims to whet the appetites of visitors
for its selection of non-alcoholic
‘syrups’ for drinks mixing, enabling you
to add extra fruit-rich favours to your
favourite tipple. And a mighty fine job it
does, too.
With design and development credited
to Arnhem-born storyteller Marcel Klein
Legtenberg (marcelkleinlegtenberg.nl),
it delivers a refreshingly quirky way
of symbolising refreshment. An
underlying, hand-drawn art style
introduces the Rose Bunker lemon
logo complete with cartoonish custom
cursor, before the flavours literally
begin to flow. Click through and a
jaunty jiggling SVG logo is obscured
by cascading PNG bottles, contrasting
starkly with the background. This is the
site’s neatest visual trick – by keeping
its rigid, gridded wireframe template
black and white, it is possible to ensure
that all of the product photography is
well and truly in the forefront.
Echoing the brand identity
established by the bottle labels, it
ties everything together with mouth-
watering animation effects that are
sprinkled throughout the site. Tap a
bottle and its accent colour floods up
the viewport to transition between each
flavour, delivering themed product
shots, isolated ingredients imagery and
serving suggestions.
