Peter Rabbit™

INSPIRED BY BEATRIX POTTER

Get set for Easter with this adorable springtime scene

of Peter Rabbit and his two quacking friends

& frolics

P

eter Rabbit has been on an
Easter egg hunt, but as well as
finding two brightly patterned
eggs, he’s also found two fluffy
yellow ducklings! This mischievous
rabbit from Beatrix Potter’s timeless
story is one of the best-loved
childhood characters of all time, and
this is your chance to capture him for
yourself in needle and thread.
This seasonal scene uses whole
cross stitch and backstitch, with just
a few fractionals for finer details
such as the bee and the duck’s beak.
Light blue aida is the ideal fabric to
complement the springtime pastel
colours, as well as enhancing Peter’s
famous blue jacket! The scene has
some playful details to enjoy stitching,

such as the colourful patterns on the
eggs and the cheery daffodil bobbing
about in the breeze.
This charming project is a
wonderful way to welcome in the
new season, or it would make a
rather lovely gift for a new baby
who’s making a spring arrival.
