Meet some our designers...
W
e’ve got exciting news! We’ve teamed up with
our sister craft magazines to bring you a new
craft website – http://www.gathered.how.
You’ll find stitching tutorials, free patterns and the latest
mag news all in one place. Let us know what you think!
Now, back to this month’s fantastic projects. First up,
I want to tell you about our new three-part Stitch-A-
Long designed by the Historical Sampler Company (p68).
Over the next three months you’ll create a wonderful rustic
spring sampler. If you’re looking to celebrate Easter in
stitches, you’ll enjoy our colourful hanging (p62) and our
tempting chocolate ABC (p57). Finally, one year on from
the tragic fire at Notre Dame, honour this magnificent
monument with Carol Thornton’s epic design (p38).
Have you been looking to try advanced
techniques without the hours invested in large designs?
Well, we’ve got a new series that will interest you. Every
month, designer Faby Reilly
will teach you a new special
stitch or technique – the
charts will all be card sized
and will cover a variety of
themes and styles. Turn to
page 80 to give this month’s
‘Quick Challenge’ a go.
