T
he range of lens options for Sony
E-mount cameras has expanded with
the launch of Tamron’s 20mm f/2.8
Di III OSD M1:2. Designed for wide-angle
applications including landscapes, street
photography, interiors and close-up work, the
lens offers further versatility thanks to its 1:2
macro facility. Sony’s Fast Hybrid AF, Direct
Manual Focus (DMF) and Eye AF are all
supported by this lens, and it also has the
same filter thread size (67mm) as Tamron’s
24mm and 35mm f/2.8 Di III OSD lenses.

In February’s Group Test (issue 225), the image
accompanying the review of the Canon EF-S 24mm
f/2.8 STM was incorrect. The image published was in
fact Canon’s EF 28mm f/2.8 – the review should have
been accompanied by the image pictured on the
right. However, the lens test and lab results were
printed correctly. Apologies for any confusion.
