Delete an audiobook
To delete an audiobook you have
previously added, swipe left over it on the main
Audiobooks screen and choose Delete. The
book will actually remain in your iCloud library,
so you can add it back again at any time.
Manage audiobooks
To manage the audiobooks lined up in
your Want to Read list, or change the Reading
Now book, tap “Reading Now and Want to
Read” to go to the Books app and change
them from there.
Play an audiobook
Now tap Library. Tap on an audiobook’s
title to play it. You may see options for various
playback devices; just tap the one you want to
listen to the book through. You’ll also see the
various playback controls.
Want to Read
By default, Reading Now and Want to
Read are both set to on, as explained in the
introduction. If you only want to download
the book you’re currently listening to, simply
turn off Want to Read.Launch the Watch app
On your Watch, press the Digital Crown
to get to the home screen and look for the
Audiobooks app — it’s the same icon as the
Books app on macOS and iOS (white open
pages on an orange circle). Tap it.Control playback
Use the controls to play, pause, skip,
change the speed of playback, or choose
a track or chapter. To change the device you
use to listen to the audiobook, tap the AirPlay
icon at the bottom–left of the screen.JARGON BUSTERReading Now is the
audiobook that you’re

or the most recent one
you listened to. So, not
actually “reading” at all.GENIUS TIP!If you have downloaded
any audiobooks from
Audible, you can also
listen to those on your
Watch using Audible’s
