illustrator and graphic designer
Fruzsina Fölföldi reveals why she studied
design. “I always found it fascinating to be
able to build a whole universe. I believe
graphic design and illustration are two
fields of art where this is possible.”
Alongside her commercial work, Fruzsina
spends time on personal projects, which give
her “the freedom to experiment as much as
I want. Tale Trail was one of these personal
projects. It was especially important to me
because it was the starting point of my

Indeed, Tale Trail – a multi-element
package intended to help tourists explore
the historic Hungarian city of Esztergom- won Fruzsina an AOI World Illustration
Award in the New Talent category last year.
But the artist isn’t content to coast on her
success. “I’m working on chocolate package
designs and on a cookery magazine as a
graphic designer, and on some whisky label
illustrations with Thirst Craft as an
illustrator. We also have exciting
commissions with our Classmate Studio,”
she says. “And my next task will be to finish
my picture book, so everyone can read the
story of the Whatwhatwhat creature!”
