Our favorite thing
about drinkware and
accessories in
eye-catching hues: They
instantly update a
kitchen without moving
a wall or painting
the cabinets. Though
hardly a new trend—
midcentury decor was
awash with the stuff—
the latest batch of
practical forms in a
rainbow of colors has us
wanting to shake up all
that sensible white
subway tile. Plus, there’s
something freeing
about not having to
settle for one color;
mixing and matching
makes the effect
even more dynamic.
