I captured this image on a day trip
to Basel, the Swiss capital of modern
architecture. I had researched and
selected eight photo spots I thought
would make great images, but aiming to
pack a lot into my day had left me a bit
pressed for time at each location. I gave
up my tripod right away. I never usually
shoot without it, but the time constraints
meant it just wasn’t possible. Fortunately,
I could rely on the image stabiliser in
my camera.
