wi thdi fferingexposures.ImportbothimagesintoPhotoshopand
st ackthetwocontrastingimageson topof eachother,withthelighter
image underneath. Click the top layer to highlight it, hold Alt and click
Add vector mask at the bottom of the Layers palette. Select a white
Brush Tool (B), choose your desired brush size and set the opacity to
50%. Then simply paint over the part of the image you wish to reveal

• in this case, darkening the sky.
