EXTRUDE TO 3D
Select the main fish shape
layer and go to 3D > New 3D
Extrusion From Selected Layer.
Go to the Properties Panel, set
Extrusion to 0, then highlight
the Caps tab and set Angle to
90 and Strength to 40 to create
a simple bulbous fish shape.
Shift-click between the top
and bottom materials in the 3D
Panel, then choose a material
for the object in Properties.

SET MATERIALS
AND LIGHT
Click Infinite Light and
adjust the angle of the light.
Experiment with Shadow
Softness in Properties. Click
Environment in the 3D Panel.
Uncheck IBL and set Ground
Plane Shadow opacity to 0.
Add extra spheres for the eyes,
then group the 3D shapes.
Go to the Timeline Panel and
expand the 3D Object layer.

ANIMATE THE FISH
Find the shape under 3D
Meshes. Grab the Move Tool
and use Axis to position the
shape off-screen, then click the
stopwatch next to the 3D mesh
layer. Now drag the playhead to
the end of the clip and position
the object elsewhere to make a
second keyframe. Click Play to
watch the 3D shape move. Use
File > Export > Render Movie
to export the animation.
