Scottish-spun yarn. Created from 100%

Shetland yarn, its soft-but-tough feel is very

reassuring. When knitted on recommended

5mm needles it delivers just the right amount

of loose drape for those winter cardigans,

jumpers and knits you always look forward

to snuggling into. As an aran-weight yarn

you’ll find that most garments knit up quickly

too. Those who love rustic-looking yarns will

adore the muted rainbow of colours with

names like Gorse (above) and Beau Lieu, to

This adorably pretty DK yarn contains 20%

silk making it dreamy to knit with and against

your skin. It creates an enchanting fabric

with wonderfully mottled stitches – our

knitted swatch delivered a tight stretch and

a wonderful drape, made heavier by the

inclusion of cotton. Take note of this yarn’s

variegated colour (above is Blossom) and its

amazing 18 shades, ten of them variegated

and eight a more solid, mildly tweedy option.
