JOGLESSJOIN

TheJoglessJoinisa wayofknittingstripesintheroundsothe

beginningandendoftheroundarenotnoticeable.Knittinginthe

roundcreatesa spiralsothebeginningandendofeachroundare

offsetbya halfstitch,creatingthe‘jog’intheknitting.Thisismost

noticeablewhenworkingstripes.Youwillneedtobeworkingat

leasttworoundswiththesamecolourinordertousethis

technique.Whenchangingcolours,knitthefirstroundwiththenew

colour,slipthebeginning-of-roundmarker,twisttheyarnsasif

gettingreadytochangecolours,butthenletthecolournotinuse

falltothewrongsideofthework,slipthefirststitchofthenext

round,thenknittotheendoftheround.Continueknittingwithout

slippingthefirststitch of the round until you need to change

colours again.

intheround,beingcarefulnottotwiststs.

Work Rounds 1 to 15 of your appropriate house colour’s chart.

Repfrom* 9 moretimes,thenknit 27 roundsinYarnA,oruntil

piecemeasures approx 198cm from cast-on edge, or desired

length.

FINISHING

Weaveinends.Block to measurements, following any instructions

on the ball band.

FRINGE

Cut 80 piecesofYarnA,eachapprox10cmlong.Usingcrochet
