The Cowl is worked in rows to measurements
stated, then joined together at the end. For
best results, block before joining into a Cowl.

MOBIUS COWL
Using Yarn A, ch338.
Row 1 (RS) Dc in second ch from hook and each
ch across, turn. [337 dc]
Row 2 (WS) Ch1 (does not count as st
throughout), dc in rst st, *skip 2 sts, shell in
next st, skip 2 sts, dc in next st; rep from *
another 55 times, turn.
[56 shells, 57 dc]
Change to Yarn B.
Row 3 Ch3 (counts as tr throughout), 2tr in st at

base of ch-3, dc in centre st of next shell, (shell in
next dc, dc in centre st of next shell) across to
last st, 3tr in last st, turn.
[55 shells, 56 dc, 6 tr]
Change to Yarn A.
Row 4 Ch1, dc in next tr, shell in next dc, (dc in
centre st of next shell, shell in next dc) across to
last st, dc in last st, turn.
[56 shells, 57 dc]
Change to Yarn B.
Repeat Rows 3-4 until piece measures approx
17cm, ending on a Row 4 repeat.
Next row (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in
each st across. [337 dc]
Fasten o.

TO FINISH
Weave in all ends and block to measurements.
Twist the strip to get the mobius shape and
whipstitch the short edges together.
