Ordinarily it shouldn’t
be an issue installing
one copy of Windows
alongside another – even on
different hard drives. All is not lost,
however. Assuming both drives
are visible in the version of
Windows you’re currently booted
into, leave that as the default in the
BIOS. Now download and install the
free non-commercial version of
EasyBCD (https://neosmart.net/
EasyBCD). Launch the program
and work your way through to
the main screen.
When you get there, click ‘Add
New Entry’. Select the drive
containing your other Windows
installation (open File Explorer if
necessary, to verify the drive
letter), update the name field to
make it clear which version of
Windows it’s pointing to and then
click the green ‘+’ button. You
should see a message indicating
the entry has been successfully
added. Click ‘View Settings’ to
