Steps 61a & b.
Pipe royal icing dots in the centre of the painted
clematis.
Use the remaining five unwired flower centres and stick
them onto the painted flower centres.
Steps 62a & b.
Insert the remaining posy picks between painted
flowers, with one on the opposite side of the white
flowers.
TIP: The idea is to place the sugar clematis so they do
not overlap too much of the painted ones. You want
it to look like a spot of colour against the painted
greenery.
Step 63.
Place the previously painted sugar leaves around the
cake as part of the painted canvas. This gives a lot
of depth to the greenery in the background without
interfering with the flowers.
Step 64.
Randomly stick the white hydrangeas around the top
and middle tier, and the yellow centre ones around the
bottom tier. Now you are finished!
