Using a food safe marker pen, trace the lips
onto a piece of acetate. Cut out the lips
with a craft knife to make your own stencil
of the outer edge. Use the lip stencil to
softly airbrush the lips in Colour Flo Rose,
ensuring that you have a nice crisp edge
to the lips. Add a touch of Rainbow Dust
Edible Glitter in Cerise to the middle of the
bottom lip to add some sparkle.

Fix the sunglasses to the plaque with royal
icing to ensure they are secure.

To finish, fix the cake to your airbrushed
board and attach your finished plaque to
the side of the cake with royal icing.

Finishing Touches

Fill the airbrush cup with airbrush cleaner and spray the
contents into your airbrush cleaning jar. Repeat this process
at least twice to ensure there is no colour left in the airbrush
chamber.

Once again, fill your airbrush cup with cleaner but this time,
cover the end of your airbrush with kitchen paper and pull the
trigger back to spray. The fluid will then bubble back into the
airbrush cup and overflow. This will clean the airbrush back
through. Repeat the process until no colour is visible.

If the end caps are particularly dirty or clogged, you can unscrew
them both and clean with a clean paintbrush or small brush
until the colour is removed. The caps can also be soaked in
cleaning fluid. Replace the end caps, fill your airbrush with
cooled boiled water and spray into your airbrush cleaning jar at
least twice to flush through any cleaning fluid.*

*Please note that you can take your airbrush apart in order to
clean the internal parts. You will need to check your airbrush
warranty to ensure that you are allowed to do this as some
brands do not recommend this.
