Steps 27a & b.
Once fully dry, brush the gold ultra dust over the top
to highlight all areas. Apply to the middle of the circle
on the carved wood tier. Create a small hinge by simply
rolling out a long cylinder with some indentation for
details.

For the tin effect tier:

Steps 28a-c.
On the 10” cake, use a flat tipped paintbrush and make
dashes, mixing grey/black/white food colouring. Once
finished, take the white food colouring and repeat with
a dry brushed effect. Lastly, use the silver ultra dust to
highlight in certain areas, bringing out the shine of tin.

Steps 29a & b.
Using the same dark brown fondant used for the
panels, press into the rope mould. Do a brown water
wash over the rope and set aside to dry. Once dry,
brush the gold ultra dust over the top to highlight it.

To assemble the cake:

Step 30.
Stack all of the cakes accordingly. Apply the rope
around the bottom of the tin tier once the cake is fully
assembled. Arrange moss around the base of the cake
with the hot glue gun. Carefully insert all flowers into
the desired areas using posy picks or straws to cover
the wire. There you have it - a dreamy garden brought
to life through sugar!
