Hiding Fox Kit

“We live in a semi-rural area in Colorado and have seen the foxes in the
neighborhood for many years, but this year, their den was close enough
for us to enjoy seeing the babies, too! I spent several evenings over many
weeks just watching and photographing the kits.
“On this particular evening, I had made a little noise, which got the
attention of the kit at the perfect moment to snap this shot. I had
photographed them enough times to realize how quickly they move,
which is why I choose 1/500 sec. shutter speed and upped my ISO to
1250 because it was shot during the golden hour. I hope to enjoy this
family for years to come!”
