starts tricky and somehow gets

much harder. A single decision can

unravel a run quickly, yet here I am

steaming into my fifth attempt this

session in hopes of ascending once

more. Its four classes each feel

unique, and I’ve experienced waves

of favouritism with each.

This roguelike platformer is

adorable yet deceptively difficult.

Every run is different, and you can

even go to Hell. The pug is easily the

GOAT videogame dog depiction and

that isn’t up for discussion! There are

plenty of tricks to master: try looting

the shop without using bombs or

ropes. It’s... pretty hard.

Every play session of The Sims 4

ends with, “It can’t be that time

already!”. This game eats up your life

like no other, but it’s my go-to for

switching my brain off. My pets keep

running away from me and I still

haven’t worked out how to be a

Global Superstar yet, but my interior

design game is on point.

Gunfight is the only mode for me

now. Playing 2v2 with identical

loadouts condenses it into a few

rounds of pure skill. Some maps are

really terrible, but making up names

for some of the zones and

strategising with a partner leads to

electrifying matches.
