Feathered fury

This shot was taken in

Kiskunság National Park,

Hungary. I watched as a

roller flew into a starling

nest and threw out the

chicks. I waited there until

the starlings eventually

returned – they were livid.

The male starling used its

talons to grab the roller by

the neck and fiercely drove

it out of the nest.
