(Antfer) #1

In Tokyo, Carlos Ghosn awaits his trial. Out on bail, the disgraced auto executive
is under house arrest for crimes he says he didn’t commit, biding his time as
the Japanese justice system builds its case against him.
But Ghosn didn’t build the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance into the world’s
second-largest automaker by waiting for others take action. He begins to plot. If he
can’t, as he claims, get a fair trial in Japan, he’ll have to go somewhere he can. But
where? And how?
In Escape from Injustice, coming soon to mobile-gaming platforms, you play
Ghosn: You already saved Nissan; now it’s time to save yourself. Should you plan the
escape alone or enlist the expertise of others? You could hire help, but former U.S.
military special operators with a knack for hostage rescue are expensive, and you’re
about to forfeit $14 million in bail. Will you waltz out of your house so brazenly that
nobody suspects it’s you? Maybe you’ll disguise yourself as a maintenance worker
or have that former soldier smuggle you out in an
audio-equipment case. Or perhaps you want to
save the amp case for later, when you’re sneaking
through airport security and out of Japan. And how
are you going to clear customs when your legal team

choose allies, disguises, and a route, and maybe you
can help Ghosn... Escape from Injustice! —Jared Gall

Consider using shell compa-
nies to buy and renovate
a multimillion-dollar mansion

COMING
SOON
We’re not going to
actually make this
game due to a regret-
table lack of staffers
who can code. But you
may still see this story
play out onscreen: In
February, a spokes-
woman confirmed
that Ghosn is working
with talent agent
and former Disney
exec Michael Ovitz
to explore opportu-
nities for a film or
TV miniseries about
his exploits. Ghosn is
presumably eager to
recoup some of the
millions he spent on
his bolt to freedom,
and Netflix seems as
good a mark as any.
