and tones in the trees and shoreline while also blurring
and reducing the contrast in the background buildings
in the fog.This takes a completely different approach to creating
selections within your images by identifying where you
want to split the image into various tonal frequencies
so you can convert that into a selection. In previous arti-
cles, I’ve mentioned the idea of boosting the signal in
an image to make it easier to create selections. This is
a more advanced approach to that concept, so I hope it
