PORT WOES
February cargo volume at the Port of Los
Angeles dropped nearly 23% compared to
the same month last year as the coronavirus
outbreak impacted trans-Pacific maritime trade.
Port Executive Director Gene Seroka said in a
statement that soft volumes are also expected
for March as factory production in China remains
at low levels.
