Hood’s scarf furiously. “Ouch!” cried Red Riding Hood. Hansel saw a magic wand
beside the cage and he took it. The witch yelled, “No! Be careful with that wand!
Do not break it!” Without thinking too much, Hansel broke the wand into pieces.
Crack!!!
The witch was in pain and wailed, “You little kids! That wand is my life!” The
witch slowly turned into clouds of black smoke and disappeared. The three
children ran out of the house.
“Thank you for saving our lives, Red Riding Hood,” said Gretel. Red Riding
Hood hugged them. She also thanked Hansel for saving her. Then, they went back
home safely before it was dark.
Knock! Knock! Knock!“I’m here, grandma,” said Red Riding Hood cheerfully. Unfortunately,
nobody answered her greeting. She knocked on the front door again, but still,
