Her heart pounded faster and faster. She realised that it was a wolf. Not
an ordinary one, but a big wolf. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to
calm her nerves.
“Grandma, I would appreciate it if you let me stand up first,” she tried to
reply to the wolf calmly. “Why would I do...”
Pow! Red Riding Hood kicked the wolf as it tried to talk to her. The wolf
groaned in pain and held its stomach. Without wasting any moment, she ran away,
got out of the house and yelled for help.
“Help! Help! There is a wolf here! Someone please help me!” Red Riding Hood
almost cried because she was still in shock to see a beast inside her house. Her
scream echoed to another side of the lake. Fortunately, Red Riding Hood and her
grandmother were not the only villagers living in the thick forest. There was
another family living at the other side of the lake. It was Hansel’s family.
