“Father!” Gretel mimed his word silently. His face lit up when he saw his
father. The woodcutter had just finished his work for the day and was walking
back to his house. “Shhh...” his father put his finger on his lip to silence the siblings.
He gripped the handle of his axe tightly.
“Hiyaarghhh...” he ran, swayed his axe, and aimed at the nape of the wolf.
Slowly, blood ran down its neck.
“I’m not dying yet. Hahahahaha...” the wolf laughed and mocked the
woodcutter. That was its last word before it collapsed and died.
