The next morning, Celine packed her stuff and left the house. Veronica was
already waiting for her at the castle.
Even though it was Celine’s first-time meeting with Veronica, she was not
scared of her. When she looked into Veronica’s eyes, she could see that she was
not as scary as she looked. Veronica was surprised to find that Celine was not
afraid of her despite her ugly appearance. She decided to tell Celine about the
curse and admitted that she regretted her awful behaviour. Veronica asked Celine
if she could be her friend and teach her how to treat people nicely. Celine was
touched after listening to Veronica’s confession and promised to help her.
