5 - Where

تربط بٌن جملتٌن حٌن ٌكون المكرر فً الجملة الثانٌة اسم أو ضمٌر ٌشٌر للمكان : -

• This is the city. I spend my holidays there.
  This is the city where I spend my holidays.


• This is the house. I was born in it. / This is the house where I was born
  Or.
  This is the house which I was born in. / This is the house in which I was born.
  in للإشوارة للمكوان ولكون ٌشوترط تورك حورف الجور( وغالبوا موا ٌكوون where بودلا مون which*هنا نلاحظ أننا ٌمكن أن نستخدم
  whichفً آخر الجملة كما هو أو نضعه قبل ) to أو

6 - When

تربط بٌن جملتٌن حٌن ٌكون المكرر فً الجملة الثانٌة اسم أو ضمٌر ٌشٌر للزمان : -

• I saw the film .I was in Cairo at that time.
  I saw the film when I was in Cairo.


• I saw the film in 2004. I was in Alex at that time.
  I saw the film when I was in Alex.

  :comaاو اسم علم او تستخدم بعد حرف جر ولكن لا who/whom/whichمحل thatتحل - 1


• This is the man about ( that – whom – that – where ) I told you yesterday.
  للاشارة الى العاقل: whoأو thatبعد صفات التفضٌل للإشارة إلً غٌر العاقل و استخدام فقط that لاحظ استخدام - 2


• This is the most interesting story that I have ever read.
  He was the best player that / who ever played football.
  all / much /many/ little/ few/ the thing / any / some / the only:بعد that عادة تستخدم - 3


• I understand all that he says. = I understand what he says.
  . فعل أو ضمٌروٌاتً قبله اسم موصول لا ٌأتً قبلهكضمٌر وصل what تستخدم -
   I told him what to do.
   Amin is the only boy that got 10 marks out of 10.
   Dr Zewail is the only Egyptian scientist that has got the Nobel Prize.
   Any question that you want to answer must be written.
  أٌضا): verb to be ٌمكن حذف ضمٌر الوصل فً الحالات الآتٌة (مع ضرورة حذف - 4
  : إذا كان بعده مبنى للمجهول 


• The man who was injured in the accident was taken to hospital.
  The man injured in the accident was taken to hospital.
  : v.+ ingإذا كان بعده مبنى للمعلوم و نضٌف للفعل 


• Students who arrived late missed the start of the experiment.
  Students arriving late missed the start of the experiment.
  إذا كان بعده جار و مجرور (حرف جر واسم): 


• The boy who is in the library wants to borrow some books.
  The boy in the library wants to borrow some books.
  إذا كان بعده اسم أو صفة بعدها اسم: 


• Dr Magdy Yacoub who is a famous heart surgeon was interviewed on TV.
  Dr Magdy Yacoub, a famous heart surgeon, was interviewed on TV.
  : whom / which بعد حرف جر بٌنما ٌمكن استخدام that / who لا تؤتى - 5


• This is Ali who / whom I told you about.


• The train by which I came arrived late.


• The train that I came by arrived late.
  لاحظ هذه الصٌغة: - 6
   It + is / was + عاقل اسم+ who / that ...
   It + is / was + غٌر عاقل اسم+ which / that ...
  It was Graham Bill who / that invented the telephone.
  It was the traffic which / that delayed us.
