The sink is like a second dressing room—where we place (or take off)
the day’s accessories. Three fabulous women gave us an insight into the
pieces that spend the most time on their basins.

WHAT’S ON YOUR

WASH BASIN?

“All the things on my basin
represent me, in a nutshell.
If you couldn’t already tell,
I’m a pinkaholic. It’s my
go-to colour...along with
gold. Hence the pink Dolce
& Gabbana clutch and the
gold Dior bag. What’s not to
love about them? They can
spruce up any old pair of
jeans, and I’ve taken them to
lunch, as well as a
spontaneous night-out. Pink,
the colour of the moment
(among millennials) has a
strong presence, without
being distracting. My
favourite look, however, is
when I pair the pink
Victorian, embellished bag
with a dress (or even a sari in
fact) with the matching
Dolce & Gabbana
sunglasses. My accessories
show a feminine and more
social side of me, rather than
my workaholic one. It’s
basically a nod in my zone.”
