Bayern Munich
The Bayern
powers-that-be
hope the German
under-20 stopper
will be the next
to bridge the gap
between the
reserves and the
first team. Signed
six years ago from
his hometown club
Dynamo Dresden,
he recently
penned an
extension to his
contract with the
Bavarians until the
summer of 2022.

Juventus
Born in Venezuela, the naturalised
Spanish striker joined Juventus from
Barcelona, where he scored twice in
their 3-0 victory against Chelsea in
the 2018 UEFA Youth League Final.
He was also a member of the Spanish
squad that won the 2019 European
under-19 title.

Benfica
Portuguese winger of Guinea-
Bissau extraction who can score
spectacular goals with either foot – as
was demonstrated by the left-footed
long-range curler he produced for
Benfica’s B team this season against
Oliveirense. With Manchester United and
RB Leipzig both said to be among his
growing list of admirers, he agreed to
a contract extension last summer and
is now tied to the Lisbon club until 2024,
with a release clause of €60m.

Paris Saint-Germain
The imposing homegrown centre-
back or midfield enforcer has made
supersonic progress these past few
months, to the point where PSG
coach Thomas Tuchel had no
hesitation throwing him in at the
deep end for a Champions League
tie against Galatasaray

Porto
Left-footed, right-sided midfielder
cum winger who can hurt defences
in all manner of ways, with his close
control and trickery out wide, his Arjen
Robben-like moves inside, his composed
finishing and his ability to spread the
play with raking coast-to-coast passes.
Earned his first call-up to Portugal’s
under-21 squad last autumn and scored
twice in a 3-2 win in Norway. Recently
started training with the Porto first-
team squad.

Borussia Dortmund
He may only be 15 but this season
he has been prolific for Dortmund’s
under-19 side, with 36 goals in all
competitions by early March. Born
in Cameroon but qualified to play
for Germany through residence,
he was leading the line for the
Deutschland under-16 team at
just 12 years of age.

Ajax
It speaks volumes
that super-agent
Mino Raiola looks
after the 17-year-
old midfielder.
Long regarded as
one of the biggest
talents in Holland,
he has been in fine
form for the Ajax
B side this term,
earning a first-
team call-up in
December. Scored
in consecutive
wins over Den
Haag and Sparta
Rotterdam.

Liverpool
The Merseyside
born-and-bred
midfielder has
shone in cup
competitions this
season, netting a
hatful of goals in
the UEFA Youth
League and
scoring for the
first team in the
FA Cup against
local rivals Everton
and Shrewsbury
Town. Now 19, he
was playing for
Liverpool’s under-
23 side when he
was just 16.
