Dalefoot Wool Compost for
tomatoes ‘no need to feed’
Dalefoot states that this
super-strength compost
contains all the must-have
nutrients needed to grow
organic, succulent, aromatic
tomatoes throughout the year
without additional tomato
feed. It is peat-free and has
been approved by the Soil
Association for organic
growing. It advises to water
your tomatoes regularly,
preferably in the evening, and
consistently to keep the soil
or compost moist – this will

help avoid blossom end rot
and fruits cracking. Do not
feed your tomatoes – Wool
Compost for Tomatoes has all
the feed your plants need to
produce their crop through
the season. It is fertile and
strong, 100% natural,
sustainable with natural
water retention.
Next month: The tomato
feeding starts – for two of
the growbags.

‘Moneymaker’ is a well-known, reliable variety
that produces tomatoes over a long period
