Pass word: Tradition

Korean Lion
Lee Kyoungbok from Korea loves to
experiment with extraordinary moti-
ves and image formats. In this case he
is painting a lion portrait which is pro-
vided with a lot of space, background
and a special atmosphere due to its ex-
treme landscape format.

The Mad Hatter
The Hatter is a famous character from
the popular children’s book „Alice‘s Ad-
ventures in Wonderland“. The French
artist Patrice Salé has painted the tea
party host by using a 3D reference.

Pastel meets Airbrush
Graffiti, water color, pencils, spatula
and brush techniques – there’s so much
that can be combined with airbrush
techniques... Presumably, there are not
many airbrush artists who have already
tried pastels. But this is actually the spe-
cialty of Paul Abert from Germany.

Snarling Dragon
Just sketching a dragon by heart – this
is how Rodrick Fuchs had already ama-
zed his students back at the Internati-
onal Airbrush Days 2017. Such a mid-
blowing creature will also be featured
by Rod in the next issue, painted with
Candy colors on a grinded aluminum
panel.
