Mark Rothko is another painter that
significantly influences Dan’s
abstract artwork. The blocks of
color, gravitas and soul, move Dan’s
own soul when he is viewing Mr.
Rotho’s work and it ooze’s into
Dan’s style of abstract art. Dan’s
soul is revealed through the art he
creates, he isn’t as burdened by the
limits of conventional art, more so,
relying on how each creation makes
him feel. He doesn’t waste his time
worrying about what other people
think of his art, he is a voracious
reader of philosophy, which has
helped him get past his initial
feelings of insecurity as an artist.
He doesn’t get personally attached to
any of his creations, knowing that
they are created to illicit emotion
from a potential
Dan truly loves creating art, it is an
honor for him to have one of his
paintings dominate a space in
someone else’s home, “What other
