FISU AMERICA

FISU America is the governing organization of

university sports in the continent of America which

has celebrated its 15

th

anniversary this year.

Since 2007 when representatives

of the American continent met

in Blumenau, Brazil on June 11th

to start what we know today as

FISU AMERICA. The organization

is leading by Alim Maluf Neto

from Brazil with a board of

9 persons from all over the

continent.

In 2015, the organization ODUPA

was renamed FISU AMERICA, a

name it bears until today.

We bring together 28 NUSF off

the continent, from the North

to the South, and in these 15

years, it has become a very

active organization whose

main objective is to promote

university sports in every corner

of the continent.

In 2022, we returned to full

activity, after two years of

unexpected events and a

lot of suffering. Fortunately,

everything that was planned

could be carried out and today,

closing the year we can be

proud of that.

We have a team that

consolidates our work on a daily

basis: communication, events

educational and sports. The

team that keeps the agenda

active as it is today.
