BASKETBALL

JULY 24-

A total number of 257 athletes, competing in 16

male and 7 female teams, making a total number

of 23 teams, coming from 21 different university,

participated in the Baskeball competition held in Lodz,

as part of the European Universities Games 2022.

On the basketball field the

men’s teams Beykent University

(TUR) and Vytautas Magnus

University (LTU) confronted

each other in the final games.

Beykent University (TUR)

won the title of champion

of basketball at European

Universities Games 2022 in

Lodz, Poland, after wining the

match with result of 77 : 70.

The bronze medal belonged to

the team of Masaryk University

(CZE) after a well-played match

against Polish Naval Academy
