FUTSAL

JULY 16-23

Twenty-six universities coming from eighteen countries which

included 224 male athletes and 128 female athletes that

competed in Lodz, trying to outscore their opponents and

walk away with a title of Futsal champion at EUG Lodz 2022.

The atmosphere at Zatoka

Sportu indoor court was very

lively and festive for the both

men and women futsal finals.

At the awards ceremony, for

the men’s final, the University

of Beira Interior (POR) was

standing at the 3rd place as

the team won its match in the

afternoon against Caucasus

International University (GEO).

The University of Zagreb (CRO)

won the gold trophy as the team

defeated the University of Reims

Champagne Ardenne (FRA).

At another day on the same

futsal court at Zatoka Sportu,

the audience witnessed a very

anticipating final game between

Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National

University of Economics (UKR)

and Rey Juan Carlos University

(ESP). With the result of 5:3, the

win went to Rey Juan Carlos

University (ESP). Both teams

played amazingly, gave their

best and gave the public a great

game to watch. Third place on

the podium was this time earned

by University of Munister (GER).
