Fighting for the title of European
University Handball Champion
were also 11 teams in the men’s
category. The final in men’s
handball was the last match
of the European Universities
Games in Lodz, having
University of Granada (ESP)
and Stefan cel Mare University
of Suceava (ROU) competing
for the title. They played a
great match, that resulted with
Stefan cel Mare University of

Suceava (ROU) wining the gold

medal. The Bronze medals were

awarded to University of Minho

(POR).

The Fair Play award in this

competition in the men’s

category went in the hands of

University of Valencia (ESP)

and in the women’s category it

went home with University of

Liverpool (GBR).

MVP prize at the men’s

competition was handed to

Stefan Tirzioru from Ștefan

cel Mare University of Suceava

(ROU) and the same prize

among the women players was

awarded to Tetiana Poliak from

Lviv State University of Physical

Culture (UKR).

The title and award of top

scorrer in the women’s

competition went in the hands

of Josipa Bebek from University

of Zagreb (CRO) and in the

men’s competition it belonged

to Ramazan Mutlu from Istanbul

University (TUR).

EUSA and the city of Podgorica,

Montenegro are looking

forward to organizing the next

EUSA Handball evet as part

of the European Universities

Championships in 2023.
