It was quite heated on the
sand where finals of beach
volleyball took place. In the
men’s competition, University
of Frankfurt (GER) took on
Vytautas Magnus University
(LTU) in the final game and won.
Medical University of Bialystok
(POL) challenged Charles
University (CZE) and won the
game for third place, taking
home the bronze medals.
In the women’s finals Mendel
University in Brno (CZE)
managed to beat Adam
Mickiewicz University (POL) and
celebrated the champions title.
Vilnius University (LTU) got third
place after the match against
Sumy State University (UKR).
Besides the medals and
throphies, two more awards for
Most Valuable playera among
both teams were awarded.
Among women the prize went to
Justyna Kozlowska competing
for Adam Mickiewicz University
(POL) and among men, this
award went in the hands
of Arnas Rumsevicius from
Vytautas Magnus University
(LTU).EUSA and Malaga, Spain are
looking forward to organising
the next EUSA Beach Volleyball
event as part of the European
Universities Championships in
