VINE SUPPORT
To get the vines to climb my
trellis instead of just flopping
over at the base, I use zip ties to
attach the stalks where I’d like
them to go. If you do this, keep
the ties loose enough for the vine
to move and grow.

PLYWOOD HANDLE
Carrying a sheet of plywood by yourself is awkward and hard on your
back. The best method I’ve found involves making a loop from an 18-ft.
rope. Wrap it around the bottom two corners of the plywood sheet. The
rope makes a perfect handle.

PLASTIC
BAG STORAGE
In a workshop, it’s easy to find
plenty of uses for plastic grocery
bags. To store lots of bags in a
small space, I stuff as many as pos-
sible into empty paper towel tubes.
I can fit more bags in the drawer
when they’re contained this way,
and it’s easy to pull out just one
bag at a time when I need it.
