t turns out that the Saturday Night Live set isn’t just a breeding
ground for romance, but for friendship too! While Emma Stone
and Scarlett Johansson were never close, the two became fast
friends due to their respective significant others, writer Dave
McCary and Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost, being
colleagues. “They were brought together by this unique situation
and discovered they have a lot in common,” shares an insider.
“Scarlett loves that Emma is so unaffected by fame, and Emma
says Scarlett is so much more down-to-earth than she imagined.”
The ladies often set up double dates, but they also enjoy plenty of
one-on-one time. “They’ve become inseparable when they’re
both in NYC,” notes the insider. “Besides being backstage buddies,
they meet up at the gym or for lunch too.” Hopefully, the boys
don’t feel too left out!It’s been six years since Emma Roberts
and Palo Alto costar James Franco locked
lips on the silver screen, but a source
tells OK! the actress can’t seem to get
the kiss out of her head! Despite the fact
that they’re both in relationships (Emma
started dating Garrett Hedlund in March,
and James has been with Isabel Pakzad
since 2017), “it’s no secret that Emma
would ditch Garrett in a heartbeat if
James showed interest,” spills the source.
“They’ve stayed in touch over the years,
and she’s been texting and calling him a lot
lately and has made it clear her romance
with Garrett is casual.” While Emma’s
pals are urging her to proceed with
caution, “she’s never backed away from a
challenge before,” adds the source, “and

is crossing her fingers that the 90210 reboot
will get her back on track financially. And if
everything goes according to plan, her first big
purchase will be none other than Candyland,
the lavish 56,500-square-foot L.A. manor
built by her late father, Aaron. “Tori keeps a
picture of the château on her fridge,” shares
an insider. “She still dreams about the place
where she grew up, with her pretty bedroom
and doll room.” Tori’s mom,Candy, resided in
the grandiose estate, which boasts a bowling alley,
barbershop and gift-wrapping room, until 2011, when she
sold it for $85 million — an unexpected move that the actress
will “never” forgive her for. “Tori tears up thinking of her lot in
life. It’s not what Aaron would’ve wanted for his little girl,” says
the insider. “She’s peddling for product endorsements and
other moneymaking schemes that will get her out of the red so
she can put in an offer. It seems far-fetched, but she has high
aspirations.” Sounds like Tori’s going big and going home!
